About UsOverview
CanAmera Baptist Missions International is a ministry of the Pembina Valley
Baptist Church, and is a Bible-based, unashamedly Baptist mission - making a difference in local church missions with a sound, proven approach.
We are a full-service, no fee, faith-based ministry, and will accept missionary candidates from independent Baptist churches of like-faith, doctrine and practice. Directors![]() Pastor Michael Sullivant President & Founder Pastor Michael Sullivant, D.D. is the founding pastor of the Pembina Valley Baptist Church. He is both the senior pastor as well as president of Canadian Baptist Bible College. He, along with his wife Brenda, have faithfully been serving the Lord at Pembina Valley Baptist Church since its inception on December 11, 1988. Pastor Sullivant was saved at the age of 15 during a revival service in Kansas City, Missouri. He heard a message on Hell and knew that he was in need of salvation. At the age of sixteen, his youth group from Kansas City took a trip to a camp at Lake of the Woods, Ontario and it was during that week he surrendered to God's will for his life. He knew that God called him to preach and that one day he would be serving the Lord in the great land of Canada. After completing Bible college, he and his wife Brenda, along with five of their eight children (three later born in Canada), came to Manitoba in September of 1988. On December 11 of that same year, the first service for the Pembina Valley Baptist Church was held. Pastor Sullivant has assisted in the starting of 11 churches, but the need to train young men became a great concern to him in 1995, when he and the members of Pembina Valley Baptist Church determined to start Canadian Baptist Bible College. God has greatly blessed. Download MP3 (right click and select Save Target As...)

![]() Brother Brian Booth General Director Brother Brian Booth first heard the Gospel in Sunday school at age six in England, and was probably saved at that time. At age 24 in February of 1968, he heard a clear presentation of the Gospel and has been sure of his salvation since that time. He is married to Helen, which is a second marriage for both, their previous spouses having gone home to Heaven in 1999 and 2002 respectively. The combined family has seven children and twelve grandchildren. Brian was one of the founding members of Friendship Baptist Church at Pickle Lake, Ontario in 1978, and has been a solid fundamental Baptist since that time. From 1986 to 1994, he and his family served in many areas at Bible Baptist Church, Niagara Falls, Ontario. In 1994 he was invited to Bethel Baptist Church at Simcoe, Ontario as assistant pastor in charge of visitation. The then Mrs. Booth was principal of the Christian school. Brother Booth continued at Simcoe through 2000 which remained his sending church while a missionary in England, until September 2007. While at Simcoe he finished a Bachelor of Theology Degree and a Master's Degree in Religious Education from Baptist Bible College Canada and Theological Seminary. He surrendered to full-time ministry while reading Isaiah chapter six during morning devotions in 1982. Brother Booth has had experience in many areas of life. This includes business, local politics and for 18 years as a presiding Justice of the Peace on the bench of the Ontario Court of Justice. During his six years in England, Brother Booth helped start four churches and did the work of an evangelist in many parts of the country. At the invitation of Dr. Michael Sullivant, Brian and Helen returned to Canada in September 2007 to serve at Pembina Valley Baptist Church. They have assisted in the setting up of CanAmera Baptist Missions International, a local church-based missions agency. The Booths have found this a challenging but enjoyable undertaking. They look forward to helping missionaries and local churches in the missionary enterprise. Download MP3 (right click and select Save Target As...)
