Laying a Solid Foundation

Brian Booth

Several years ago Dr. Michael W. Sullivant recognized the need for a Canadian independent Baptist missions sending ministry. At that time the name CanAmera Baptist Missions International was established and registered. Since then, it has been Dr. Sullivant's desire to see this burden become a reality.

In 2005, Dr. Sullivant suggested to Missionary Brian Booth that at some point in the future, he should consider joining in establishing this ministry. Brother Booth had faithfully served as a missionary in England for six years and brought with him a wide range of experience from local business, local politics and 18 years as a presiding Justice of the Peace on the bench of the Ontario Court of Justice.

In 2007, Brian and along with his wife Helen returned to Canada to help serve and assist in the setting up of CanAmera Baptist Missions International––a local church-based mission. The Lord used Brother Booth in a mighty way in laying a solid foundation for CanAmera Baptist Missions International.

Brother Booth faithfully served as General Director laying a solid foundation in which CanAmera Baptist Missions continues to assist missionaries in pre-field ministry, as well as on the field, and the sending churches in their missions programs. The Lord called Brother Booth to Himself, February 20, 2012.
